Papers of interest to the cosmetic industry and to the understanding of the cosmetic markets are also welcome for publication. Issues are published online bi-monthly, for a total of 6 issues a year. There are no submission fees to publish a paper in JCS. JCS recent issues include issues from the current year + last 2 years. See the pricing section below for more information. The online Journal archives, all issues dating back to 1947 excluding the recent issues as described above, is available for free. As of 2020, JCS individual issues will be published online only. There will be a print on demand option (containing the complete volume of 6 issues per calendar year) available for purchase for those interested in a hard copy.
